Rosette leaves 6–9, elliptic, 20–35 x 8–17mm. Flower stem 150–25 tall, 1.5– across, 1–9-flowered. Stem bracts 3–4. Flowers porrect, 20–25 x 4–5mm, translucent white with green and brown markings, lateral sepals often reddish-brown. Dorsal sepal point acuminate, 2– long. Lateral sepals about as wide as hood or slightly narrower, shallowly concave, margins strongly incurved, glabrous or with very short hairs, tapered into free points; free points 5– long, parallel or weakly divergent. Petals with relatively large basal flanges which do not meet, 8–9 x 2.5mm. Labellum oblong, 4.5–5 x 2–2.5mm, thick, reddish-brown, nearly flat; margins with 10–20 spreading to forward-pointing bristles 1–2. long; basal lobe thick, about as wide as blade, with numerous very short white bristles.
