Characteristics

Leaves 3–5, in loose rosette or scattered up stem, 30–60 x 8–20mm, dark green, fleshy, margins entire, upper leaf often sheathing ovary. Flower stem 80–25  tall, scabrous. Flower erect, 20–25 x 14–16mm, translucent white heavily striped with green lines and suffusions. Dorsal sepal of similar length to petals, shortly pointed, tip obliquely erect. Lateral sepals loosely embracing galea and separated from petals by wide side gap. Sinus curved in side view, deeply notched in front view. Free points tapered, 14–1  long, erect or curved forwards, just extending above hood. Petals shortly pointed. Labellum curved near apex, protruding from sinus when set, 12–15 x 3mm, broadest near middle and tapered to apex, brown.
