Rosette stalk 25–5 long; leaves 3–6, 10–50 x 3–7mm. Flower stem 300–75 tall; stem leaves 4–7, 20–70 x 5–8mm. Flowers 1–12, often semi-nodding, 19–23 x 7–8mm, translucent green with prominent dark green stripes, shiny. Dorsal sepal tip orange-brown. Lateral sepals about as wide as galea or slightly wider, 14–16 x 7–8mm, margins shallowly recurved, tips orange-brown, parallel or divergent. Petals with large blunt basal flanges that block off basal opening in galea, 16–18 x 3.5–4mm, outer margin shallowly curved. Labellum oblong with large lateral lobes, 7.5–9 x 3.5–4mm, usually held well out from the lateral sepals, thick, fleshy, reddish-brown to dark brown, basal mound and central stripe darker; surface cells bead-like, those towards base longer and hair-like.
