Characteristics

Rosette leaves 4–9, ovate, 3–12 x 3–6mm, dull green, margins entire. Flower stem 80–30  tall, wiry, 1–6-flowered. Flowers well spaced, 1–3 open at once, externally smooth, shiny, 10–13 x 4.5–5.5mm, base green and white, apex bright red-brown. Dorsal sepal shorter than petals, both smooth. Synsepalum shallowly curved, curved inwards at top; frontal opening deeply notched. Free points narrowly tapered, 2.5–3.  long, just reaching above top of hood. Labellum tip visible through sinus in set position, elliptical, 4.5–5 x 2–2.3mm, dark red-brown and white.
