Plants slender, to 350 mm; leaves 2-4, spaced up the stem, elliptic-oblong, acuminate, to 70 x 20 mm. Inflorescences lax, to 70 mm, 2-6-flowered; bracts elliptic-acute, c. 18x5 mm. Flowers c. 30 x 15 mm, greenish-yellow, not opening normally. Median sepal elliptic-acute, concave, 6-10 x 4 mm, adnate to the petals; lateral sepals spreading, acute, 8-11 x 4 mm. Petals, lip and gynostemium abnromal.
Slender, tuberous geophyte to 35 cm. Leaves cauline, 2-4, elliptic-oblong. Flowers few in a lax raceme, greenish yellow, cleistogamous, lip without appendage but rostellum with appendages.
