Characteristics

Plants slender to fairly robust, to 400 mm tall; leaves 2-3, linear to elliptic, acute, to 190 x 18 mm. Inflorescences lax, c. 110 mm long, 2-6-flowered; bracts ovate, subattenuate. Flowers c. 35 x 30 mm, yellowish green; ovaries c. 20 mm long. Median sepal narrowly elliptic, acute to acuminate, subconcave, c. 18-22 x 4-6 mm, adnate to the petals; lateral sepals spreading, broadly elliptic-attenuate, concave, acute, 12-15 x 8 mm. Petals obliquely ovate-acute, 15-18 x 11-14, 3 mm deep. Lip very narrowly linear, 3-4 mm long; appendage cruciform, 8-14 mm tall, with the hori-zontal lobes broad, c. 5 mm long. Stigma lobes elliptic, 1 mm long, on either side of the lip ap-pendage posteriorly; rostellum c. 1 mm tall, arms c. 3 mm long.
