Leaves 5–6, the lower 2 reduced to tight sheaths, the upper 1 or 2 similar to the bracts, the middle 2 much larger, ± erect, oblanceolate, obtuse or acute, subcordate, the lower of the 2 larger 9–11 cm. long and 2.5–3.5 cm. broad, the upper 6–8 cm. long and 1.5–2 cm. broad.. Inflorescence 4–6.5 cm. long, 2–2.5 cm. in diameter, rather closely 7–11-flowered.. Bracts erect or deflexed, lanceolate, acute, 1.3–2.2 cm. long, 3–5 mm. broad..
