Characteristics

Plants slender, to 520 mm; leaves 3-4, ovate-oblong, acute, to 140 x 50 mm. Inflorescences lax to dense, cylindrical, to 150 mm long, numerous-flowered; bracts ovate-lanceolate, acute, deflexed, c. 13 x 5 mm. Flowers c. 15 x 12 mm, with green sepals, lime petals and lip; strongly scented; ovaries 8-10 mm. Median sepal linear-oblong, acute, 7-8 x 2 mm, adnate to the petals; lateral sepals oblique, reflexed, shallowly saccate, acuminate, 6-7 x 2.5-3 mm. Petals ovate, obliquely rounded, folded apically, 7-7.5 x 5-6 mm. Lip deltate, acute, 4-5 x 6 mm, with rounded side lobes spreading c. 1 mm laterally, basal callosities mostly reaching beyond the lip; appendage spathulate-peltate, forming a cup, apically notched, 3-4 x 2 mm. Stigma lobes minute pads; rostellum c. 2 mm tall, arms c. 2 mm long.
