Seedling 31 O.P.; introd. from Turkmenistan Experimental Station of Plant Genetic Resources, Garrygala to USDA-ARS National Clonal Germplasm Repository, Davis, CA in 1999. Tree: low growing shrub; straight; grows well in areas with hot summers. Fruit: medium to large; round-flat; dark red, with large, dark red arils; seeds small, soft; flavor tart-sweet; ripens late October in Davis.
