Seeds 6–18, glossy, red-brown, with a laciniate fleshy aril forming a complete covering, with fleshy endosperm.
Fruit capsular, coriaceous to woody, without emergences, dehiscing loculicidally to the base.
Sepals (4)5, subequal, imbricate, free or united at the base, with margin finely ciliolate.
Disk intrastaminal, single, convex, shallowly (4)5–10-lobed.
