Petiole 0.6–1.6(–2) cm. long, pubescent; blade oblong, oblong-elliptic or obovate, 4.2–9(–12.5) cm. long, 2–5(–6) cm. wide, obtuse, rounded or shortly and bluntly acuminate, cuneate, papery, deep green above, paler beneath, usually sparsely pubescent, especially on the nerves; margin glandular-serrate.. Inflorescence-axis and branches pubescent.. Flowers 2.5–3.5 mm. in diameter, ± 1.5–2.2 mm. long; pedicels 0.25–0.5 mm. long; bracts ± triangular, 0.5–0.7 mm. long, pubescent.. Sepals united in the lower 1/3–1/2, ovate, 0.3–0.5 mm. long, obtuse to rounded, denticulate, slightly pubescent outside, greenish with a paler margin..
