Perennial, dwarf shrublet, up to 0.3 m high, roots fibrous. Leaves sickle-shaped with 2 lobes near apex, epidermis covered by raised white dots. Flowers solitary to ternate, yellow. Flowering time June-Aug. Capsules reddish brown, 5-locular, closing bodies broad, flat.
