Leaves unifoliolate; leaflet ovate, 2·2–6·3 cm. long, 1·7–5 cm. wide, rounded to subacute and mucronulate at the apex, cordate, sometimes faintly 3-lobed but this is reduced to a mere undulation, ± ferruginously velvety pubescent on both surfaces; venation prominent and reticulate beneath; petiole 2 mm. long; stipules recurved, lanceolate, 4 mm. long, 1·5 mm. wide, veined, hairy.. Inflorescences axillary or apical ones borne in axils of undeveloped leaves and often running together forming a terminal panicle, rather lax; rhachis 2–5 cm. long; peduncle 0·4–2 cm. long; pedicels 4–5 mm. long; bracts deciduous, lanceolate, 4 mm. long, hairy.. Calyx ferruginously silky pilose; tube 3·5–4 mm. long; lobes lanceolate, 0·7–1·3 cm. long, 1·5–2 mm. wide, the lowest the longest, the upper pair joined at the base.. Standard yellow with red veins, oblong-obovate, 1·1–1·3 cm. long, 5·5–6 mm. wide, truncate at the apex, glabrous; wings yellow; keel greenish, dark brown at the apex.. Pods narrowly elliptic-oblong, 2·3 cm. long, 7 mm. wide, densely covered with long hairs, short hairs and glands.. Seeds brown, spotted black, longest dimension 3·5–4 mm.
