Leaf-lamina oblong to elliptic or oblong-obovate, 8–24(–28) cm. long, 2.7–8.5(–10) cm. wide, the base cuneate to subrounded, the apex acuminate, glabrous above, often with some hairs at least on the midrib and lateral veins beneath, margin finely serrate-dentate, lateral veins 8–12 pairs; petiole 5–12 mm. long, pubescent to puberulous.. Inflorescence a terminal thyrse, often broadly pyramidal or subcorymbose in general outline; rachis usually 5–12 cm. long, puberulous, rarely shortly pubescent; flowers yellow or greenish yellow; bracts and bracteoles narrowly ovate to linear-lanceolate, 1–4 mm. long, margin ciliate, soon caducous; peduncle 10–32 mm. long, usually puberulous; pedicels slender, 1–3 mm. long, puberulous.. Sepals lanceolate to triangular-ovate, 2–2.5 mm. long, glabrous or puberulous, margin ciliate..
