Flowers minute, 4-merous, solitary in axils, subsessile; bracteoles 2, scarious, minute, 0.1–0.25 mm. long.. Calyx-tube campanulate, 0.3–0.5 mm. long, not accrescent but splitting in fruit; lobes 4, triangular, 0.2–0.4 mm. long; appendages absent.. Petals absent..
