Leaf-blades oblanceolate to obovate, 4.5–14.4 cm. long, 2–6.8 cm. wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, coriaceous, glabrous above, glabrous to glabrescent beneath with midrib sparsely pubescent; domatia absent; petioles 0.2–1.3 cm. long, sparsely pubescent; stipules triangular, acuminate, 3–5 mm. long, caducous.. Flowers sweetly scented, solitary, terminal above a single leaf; peduncle 0.5–1.6 cm. long, pubescent, bearing 2–6 acute triangular bracteoles 2–6 mm. long.. Calyx golden or reddish-brown pubescent; tube 10-grooved, 0.9–1.4 cm. long; limb-tube 0.4–1.1 cm. long, wider than the tube; lobes linear, 1.6–3.2 cm. long, 1.5–2 mm. wide, ± equal.. Corolla white with reddish purple spots in throat, golden to buff pubescent outside when dry; tube long, narrowly cylindrical below, campanulate above, 11–24 cm. long, the campanulate part 3.8–6.2 cm. long, 3.1–4.5 cm. wide at top, 3–6 mm. wide at base, glabrous within, the cylindrical portion pubescent within; lobes overlapping to left in bud, ovate, 1.3–2.6 cm. long, (1.2–)1.8–3 cm. wide, rounded or obtuse, whitish tomentose above.. Anthers well-included, 2–3 cm. long.. Style ± 11–18 cm. long, gradually widening to apex; stigma well-included, 2–3 cm. long, 3–4 mm. wide..
