Cultivation

A very productive, floricane fruiting red raspberry adapted to the Pacific Northwest. Origin: Washington State University, Puyallup, by P.P. Moore. WSU 608 × Tulameen; cross made 1990; selected 1994; tested as WSU 1129; introduced in 2003; USPPAF. Tree: vigorous. Susceptible to raspberry bushy dwarf virus and to the North American vector of the raspberry mosaic virus complex, the aphid Amphorophora agathonica. Fruit: medium size; short conic; soft; light color with bloom; releases easily from receptacle and suitable for machine harvest; especially good for production of raspberry liquor.
