Cultivation

Origin: in Murrinsville, New Zealand, by C.E.H. and M.A. Thomas. Sport of Heritage discovered in 1984; introd. in 1988. U.S. plant patent pending; assigned to Nourse Farms, South Deerfield, Mass. Tree: Fruit: medium; conic; yellow; firm; excellent quality; produced on primocanes; ripening time similar to Heritage. Plant primocanes vigorous, numerous, erect, sturdy; more spines than Heritage; no red pigmentation.
