Cultivation

A very early-ripening raspberry. Origin: as a chance seedling in a grower field in Germany. Introd. in 1993. Plant variety rights held by R. and H. Sauer, Sanderst. 6, DW-7604 Appenweiher. Tree: low yield; weak cane growth; tends to bear primocane fruit at tip of new cane; dead buds appear in spring; moderate primocane production. Fruit: medium to large size; medium firm; bright red; uniform shape; well presented; good flavor.
