Characteristics

Turio angulatus sulcatus, dense fulvo-tomentosus, densesed breviter glandulosus. Aculei numerosi, paulum insequales, majores e basibus dilatatis et compressis leviter curvati etpaulum reclinati, minores fere recti. Folia pinnata 2-jugacoriacea, grosse et insequaliter serrata, supra nitida viridiaglabra, subtus magis pallide viridia glabra, in nervis solumparce pubescentia. Foliolum terminale e basi integra obovatum, breviter acuminatum, sua parte petioli multo longius; foliola lateralia breviter petiolulata, ilia jugi supremi fere sessilia, e basibus integris ovata, breviter acuminata; ilia jugiinfimi parte infima petioli longiora. Petiolus supra paulumcanaliculatus, tomentosus glandulosus, aculeolis densis armatus. Stipulse longse lanceolatse lineares, tomentosse, glandulosse. Ramus floriferus tomento armatura et glandulositate aturione parum diversus. Folia in parte inferiore pinnata, insuperiore 3-nata, in inflorescentia simplicia. Inflorescentia angusta, folia superans, tomentosa glandulosa, ramulis brevibus adscendentibus paucis ex axillis foliorumsuperiorum et panicula efoliosa composita. Pedicelli insequilongi tomentosi glandulosi aculeolati. Calyx fere ad basin partitus. Sepala tomentosa, saepe aculeolata, partim ovataacuminata vei fere cuspidata, partim ovato-lanceolata vel ferelanceolata, acuta, erecta. Petala rosea obovata, sepalis breviora. Carpella glabra.
