Characteristics

Glabra humilis (an ab animalibus morsa?); rami patentes vel decumbentes, rigidi, visi praemorsi ad 5 cm. longi, ad 3 mm. diam.; folia erecta, lat. visa superne baud angustata, oblique truncata, apiculata, acute carinata, carina apice 1-denticulata, infra 1-2 denticulis minimis interdum additis, glauca, roseo suffusa, 1-1.3 cm. longa, 2.5-3 mm. diam., medio 2 mm. lata, vagina 2 mm. longa, linea impressa obscura; floras subsessiles; receptaculum cum pedunculo brevissimo clavatum, prope medium constrictum, 4-5 mm. longum, ad 3-4 mm. diam.; sepala 5, subaequilonga, lineare lanceolata, acuta, 4-4.5 mm. longa, basi 1.5-2 mm. lata, exteriora carinata, carina minute 1-deuticulata; petala 3-seriata, apicem versus leviter ampliata, obtusa vel acuta, purpureo rosea, 5 mm., vel saepissime 6 mm. et 7 mm., longa, ad 0.5 mm, lata; staminodia apicem versus recurva, stamina conferta superantia; filamenta rosea vel pallida, ad 4 mm. longa, exteriora obscure papillate ciliata., interiora prope basin papillata, polline aureo; discus crenulatus; ovarii lobi valde compressi, distantes, per 0.5 mm. elevati; stigmata 5, anguste subulata, superne attenuata, intus inconspicuissime papillata, 2.75 mm. longa.
