Characteristics

Shrub, with branches ± 90 mm long, internodes maroon. Leaves 3-sided, tip blunt, epidermis smooth. Flowers 1-3 per cyme, 16 mm diam., bracteoles near base of pedicel, petals in 5 groups, 0.75 mm broad, pink, filamentous staminodes pale pink, filaments pink apically. Fruit with a big tubercle.
