Planta pulvinum orbicularem, 18 cm. diam., 7 cm. altum, formans; rami primarii saepe 8 mm. diam.: ramuli hornotini cum flore saepius 3 cm. longi, 4-6-foliati sine bracteis, internodiis invisis; folia adscendentia, supra plana, carina saepe ad lineam reducta, integra vel rarius parum infra apicem denticulo parvo patente subpungenti onusta, lateribus convexis, lat. visa superne leviter angustata, acuta, subpungente apiculata, levia glaucoviridia, ad 1.3 cm. longa sine vagina 2 mm. longa, saepius ad 2 mm. diam.; flores diurni, 1.5 cm., vel demum ad 2 cm., diam.; pedunculus ultra bracteas per 5 mm. productus, superne leviter incrassatus, apice subconstrictus; bracteae 6 mm. longae sine vagina 2 mm., saepius 1-denticulatae; receptaculum ad 2 mm. longum, 5 mm. diam.; sepala 5, acuta, 4-4.5 mm. longa; petala 1-2-seriata in fascicula 5 disposita, obtusa roseopurpurea, ad 8 mm. longa, ad 0.75 mm.lata; staminodia roseopurpurea, apice recurvata, stamina conferta pa rum superantia et ea nullo modo occultantia; filamenta rosea, 3-4 mm. longa, intima parum infra medium papillata, antheris pollineque aureis; glandulae conspicuae crenulatae; ovarium leviter elevatum,' lobis sat distantibus obtusis; stigmata, angustissime subulata, longe attenuata, 4 mm. longa.
