Flowers: solitary, on short floriferous branches; bracteoles leaf-like, blade triangular, 1.5 x 1.0-1.2 mm, keeled, auriculate at base, with broad membranous margins; bracteoles similar, somewhat smaller than perianth; perianth segments ovate, 2 mm long, apices acute or rounded, thin-skinned in front of wings, with narrowly triangular, hairy and herbaceous middle portion and glabrous membranous margin, hairy below wings, yellowish green or pink; Feb.-Apr.
