Characteristics

Small epiphyte usually consisting of a single growth with stiffly spreading leaves. Stems 10–80 mm long, sparsely branched. Leaves 2–8 per stem, 50–150 × 20–40 mm, dark green, thin-textured but stiff, margins entire or slightly wavy. Racemes 60–140 mm long, 2–12-flowered. Flowers 16–22 × 15–20 mm, pale green, bright green or yellowish green, sometimes with red central markings. Sepals and petals widely spreading, base narrow. Dorsal sepal 8–15 × 3–4.5 mm. Lateral sepals 8–15 × 3–4 mm, sometimes spreading at right angles. Petals 7–12 × 2.5–3.5 mm. Labellum 5–8 × 3–5 mm, white with red-brown markings (sometimes distinct bars); lateral lobes c. 4 × 1.5 mm, apex curved; midlobe with tooth 0.5–1.3 mm long.
