Plants forming small, dense clumps on rocks. Stems erect, 40–80 mm long, freely branched from base. Leaves 4–10 per stem, linear, 40–120 × 6–10 mm, thick, fleshy, broadly channelled, usually reddish green to brownish, sometimes pinkish, covered with dark, wart-like spots. Racemes stiffly erect to arching, 80–200 mm long, thin, 3–18-flowered. Flowers upward facing, cupped, 8–14 × 8–14 mm, pink, labellum with darker pink irregular bands. Sepals and petals incurved, overlapping, thin-textured. Dorsal sepal 5–8 × 4–5 mm. Lateral sepals 5–8 × 4–5 mm. Petals 5–7 × 3–4 mm. Labellum 2–2.5 mm long, 4–4.5 mm wide, fleshy, hairy; lateral lobes and midlobe separate; lateral lobes 4–4.5 × 1.5 mm, erect and incurved, shortly hairy; midlobe short, thick, shallowly lobed, densely but shortly hairy; calli single, short, lobed, central at labellum base.
