Characteristics

Small epiphyte usually consisting of a single, semi-pendulous growth. Stems 20–100 mm long, sparsely branched. Leaves 4–8 per stem, linear, 50–120 × 10–15 mm, curved, bright green, thin-textured. Racemes pendulous, 12–60 mm long, 2–18-flowered. Flowers opening sequentially, 7–8 × 10–12 mm, cream to bright yellow with prominent purplish brown to reddish brown bands. Sepals and petals narrow, blunt, widely spreading. Dorsal sepal 4–5 × 3 mm. Lateral sepals 4–5 × 3 mm. Petals c. 3 × 2 mm. Labellum c. 7 × 5 mm; lateral-lobes c. 4 × 1.5 mm, incurved; midlobe erect, c. 0.5 mm long, surface with short loose hairs.
