Characteristics

Plants (120-) 150-350 (-610) mm tall; leaves 2, adpressed to the ground, ovate to subrotund, obtuse, 20-80 mm long. Inflorescences dense, (3-) 15-27 (-30)-flowered; bracts partly to fully deflexed, 1.3-3.1 times the length of the 7-18 mm long ovary. Flowers white to pale pink. Sepals and petals similar, free to the base, basal 2/3-3/4 forming a broadly U-shaped entrance to the galea, apices deflexed, sepals elliptic-oblong, obtuse, 4 mm long. Lip from the front as deep as high, with a prominent dorsal ridge, entrance 4-7 mm tall, narrowly to broadly elliptic; flap 1 mm long and partly reflexed; spurs slender, 12-22 mm long, close to the ovary. Anther connective tooth-like; rostellum elliptic, keeled below, rather flat above, 3 mm long, with a small appendix.
