Characteristics

Plants stout, (180-) 230-450 (-620) mm tall; leaves 2, adpressed to the ground, broadly ovate to subrotund, obtuse, margins narrowly hyaline. Inflorescences rather lax, (8-) 14-23 (-27)-flowered; bracts partly to fully deflexed, with glabrous margins, 1.2-2.5 times the length of the 8-18 mm long, deeply ridged ovary. Flowers white to ivory, faintly pink-tinged. Sepals and petals similar, fused for xh of their length and to the sides of the lip, sepals elliptic-oblong, obtuse, 9-12 mm long. Lip spurs curved, 10-20 mm long. Viscidia discoid; stigma flap broadly obovate to transversely oval, obtuse, 1.5-2 mm long; rostelªlum 1.5-2 mm long, with 2 parallel arms.
