Characteristics

Plants 230-310 mm tall; leaves 2-3, set near the base but borne away from the ground, ovate, cu-cullate, 40-100 mm long. Inflorescences dense, 4-30-flowered; bracts deflexed, 1.2-1.5 times the length of the 12-16 mm long, nearly straight, sub-erect ovary. Flowers pale yellowish green, tinged purple-brown on the lateral sepals and lip. Sepals and petals connate with the lip in basal 'At, strongly recurving soon after anthesis, median sepal and petals alike, oblong, obtuse, lateral sepals slightly larger, falcate, 5-6 mm long. Lip spurs 20-25 mm long, apices bright green. Stigma flap erect, semi-circular, 1 mm high; rostellum 1 mm long, with 2 parallel arms.
