Characteristics

Plants (190-) 300-450 (-620) mm tall; leaves 4-6, cauline, partly erect, with a gradual transition to the sheaths, narrowly oblong to elliptic-oblong, acute, 70-200 mm long. Inflorescences dense to rather well spaced, (6-) 20-50 (-70)-flowered; bracts slightly to partly deflexed, margins glabrous, 1-3 times the length of the 9-12 mm long ovary. Flowers pink. Sepals fused to the petals and lip in their lower '/4, 6.5-10.5 mm long, petals similar. Lip spurs slender, from a shortly conical base, 7-31 mm long. Stigma broadly oblong, 1 mm high; rostellum with obscure lateral lobes, with distinct appendix.
