Leaves subopposite, ovate, acute, rather fleshy, 2 cm. long, 1.5–1.8 cm. broad.. Inflorescence lax, 3–15-flowered; bracts ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 6–7 mm. long, shorter than the ovary.. Flowers carmine with darker stripes.. Sepals and petals free to the base, 4.5–5 mm. long. Intermediate sepal obovate-oblong, lateral sepals and petals narrower, obovate, obtuse.. Lip somewhat convex, constricted above the middle with the apex widened above, with crenulate margins, 4.5–5 mm. long.. Spurs cylindrical, obtuse, equalling the lip.. Stigma large, cushion-like, thick.
