Characteristics

Plants (110-) 160-320 (-430) mm tall; leaves 2, adpressed to the ground, broadly ovate to rotund, 20-110 mm long. Inflorescences (3-) 10-26 (-38)-flowered; bracts deflexed, 1.4-1.9 times the length of the 10-21 mm long, straight and slender ovary. Flowers pale pink to ivory, dark purple along the midveins of the petals and sepals, also in lines within the entrance to the lip galea. Sepals and petals 1/3 fused to the sides of the lip, then decurved. Lip spurs longer than the ovary, 19-30 mm long, tapering smoothly from the base of the galea. Anther loculi dark purple; stigma flap broadly elliptic, obtuse to emarginate, 2 mm long; rostellum broadly oblong, 2 mm long, made up of 2 parallel arms.
