Characteristics

Plants slender, decumbent to erect, stems (50-) 90-160 (-200) mm tall; leaves 1-3, lowest spreading near the ground, upper partly erect, longest lamina ovate, obtuse to subacute, transversely slightly V-shaped, 10-40 mm long. Inflorescences moderately dense, 10-20 mm in diameter, (3-) 15-23 (-30)-flowered; bracts deflexed at anthesis, ovate-acuminate, glabrous, 1.3-3.4 times the length of the 5-7 mm long ovary. Flowers dull yellowish green tinged pale to dark purple. Sepals fused to the petals and the base of the lip for c. 'At their length, then abruptly deflexed with the petals, 3-4 mm long; median sepal much narrower than the broadly ovate-falcate lateral sepals. Petals ovate-deltate. Lip spurs 6-10 mm long. Stigma flap arched over the rostellum, oblong with the sides reflexed, 1 mm long; rostellum deflexed, c. 1 mm long.
