Characteristics

Plants (110-) 190-300 (-430) mm tall; leaves 2-4, borne near ground level, spreading, ovate, acute, 40-150 mm long. Inflorescences rather dense, 6-45-flowered; bracts deflexed, 1.7-2.7 times the length of the 3-7 mm long ovary. Flowers white with pale green tinges along the mid-veins. Sepals, petals and lip fused in the basal 'A, above this forming loose tube from which only the apices spread; median sepal reflexed earlier than the rest; lateral sepals slightly larger, falcate, 3-4 mm long. Lip spurs minute, slender, 2-4 mm long. Viscidia minute, oval; stigma flap erect, broadly obovate, 1.5 mm high; rostellum 1 mm long, unªlobed.
