Characteristics

Perennial, geophytic herb, 150-380 mm high. Leaves with blade filiform, 0.5-20.0 mm broad, glabrous. Flowers: peduncles > 20 mm long; corona with needle-like projection extended over style head, lobes 15 mm long, thick and fleshy; corolla lobes flat, spreading, with recurved margins or replicate, 2-4 mm long; glabrous outside, minutely puberulous inside, greenish; mainly Oct.-Mar., Jun., Aug. Fruit a follicle.
