Leaves acutely ascending, widely spaced, not confined to upper parts only; petiolate, trifoliolate; leaflets sessile, rigidly coriaceous, dull grey-green, scabrid-hirtellous, acicular, narrowly transverse rhombic to reduplicate, margins entire, ciliolate. Inflorescence thinly hirsute, much-branched, terminal panicles, 80 mm long, few flowered, prominently exposed. Flowers glabrous; styles persistent. Fruit a drupe, circular, obloid to ellipsoid, glabrous, shiny.
