Characteristics

Herba perennis, tegetem formans; caules repentes, radicantes, ramosi, tenuissimi, foliati. Folia plerumque 4-8 x 4-7 mm, suborbicularia vel late ovato-elliptica, apice subacuta vel rotundata, basi in foliis majoribus in partem petiolarem angustata, in foliis superioribus minoribus gradatim angustata. Flores aut solitarii aut 2-5 in cymas congestas terminales dispositi; bracteae oblongo-ellipticae, c. 4 x 1.25 mm. Calycis segmenta 6 x 1.25-2 mm, lanceolata, acuta, basi per 1 mm coalita, hyalina, carinata, anguste alata ala minus quam 0.5 mm lata. Corolla tubo 6 mm longo; lobi 8 x 3-3.5 mm spatulati, apicibus rotundatis, vivide lutei. Filamenta minus quam 0.25 mm longa, 1 mm infra corollae sinus orientia; antherae 1.5 mm longae, glandula apicali parva pallida stipitata. Stylus c. 1 mm longus, tumore stigmatoso prominente per fere totam longitudinem praeditus, stigmate terminali carente. Ovarium 3.75 x 2 mm. Capsula c. 3 x 2.5 mm.
