Prostrate, creeping herb rooting at nodes, somewhat pilose; stems slender up to 20 cm. long.
Corolla up to 2 mm. long, usually 5-lobed, yellow to purple, lobes short, obtuse.
Capsule to about 1.5 mm. long, obovate, somewhat emarginate, pilose at apex.
Flowers solitary, pedicels 2–5 mm. long.
Stamens usually four, included.
