Perennial, decumbent or prostrate herb, up to 0.4 m high; sparingly branched, shortly and sparingly retrorse-pubescent. Leaves petiolate, thin-textured, ovate to broadly ovate, 20-65 x 14-50 mm, base deeply cordate, apex subacute to obtuse, margins coarsely crenate; eglandular, sparingly hispidulous or shortly pilose. Inflorescence somewhat lax below or often subcapitate; verticils 1-4; verticillasters (2-)4-6-flowered. Flowers white. Calyx softly pubescent to sparingly hispidulous. Corolla: tube arcuate; upper lip ascending; lower lip horizontal, mauve-spotted. Flowering time Jan.-Aug.
Sparsely hairy, sprawling perennial to 40 cm. Leaves petiolate, ovate, toothed. Flowers in sparse verticils, calyx softly to shortly hairy, corolla white, sometimes with mauve spots.
