Characteristics

Perennial, decumbent or straggling herb, up to 0.5 mm high; pubescence on stem, leaves and calyx shortly scabrid or tomentose to villous. Leaves petiolate, firm to thick-textured, ovate to ovate-deltoid, 10-40 x 6-24 mm, base deeply cordate to rounded, apex obtuse to rounded, margins regularly and shallowly crenate. Inflorescence lax below, fairly dense above; verticils 5-20; verticillasters 2-flowered. Flowers white. Calyx densely and shortly pubescent to densely villous, glands absent. Corolla: tube 7-11 mm long; upper lip ascending; lower lip with lilac markings, deflexed. Flowering time Jan., July?.
