Perennial, decumbent herb, ± 0.3 m long; stems branched, fairly stout, deeply 4-furrowed; glandular-hispidulous with retrorse, multicellular hairs and copious, short, glandular hairs. Leaves petiolate, ovate, 30-45 x 20-50 mm, base cordate, apex obtuse to rounded, margins regularly and shallowly crenulate; densely glandular-hispidulous. Inflorescence of few to several verticils in axils of leaf-like bracts; verticillasters 2-flowered; bracts scarcely differentiated or becoming smaller towards apex. Flowers white. Calyx glandular-hispid. Corolla: tube 8-9 mm long; upper lip ascending; lower lip horizontal.
