Characteristics

Annual herb to 50 cm, slender, straggling, almost glabrous to papillose. Basal leaves entire to deeply pinnatisect, to 5 cm long, non-persistent; cauline leaves reducing in size and shape, simple, entire. Sepals 2.5–3.5 mm long; laterals strongly saccate. Petals 15–25 mm long, slender, bright orange-yellow. Stigma obscurely bilobed. Silicula elliptic to suborbicular, 3.5–5 mm long, round to slightly compressed; pedicels recurved, 7–20 mm long, slender. Seeds oblong to suborbicular, 1 mm long, flattened, 6–12 per locule.
