Characteristics

Succulent shrub, up to 0.8 m tall. Leaves club-shaped, 35-40 mm long, brown-green to green. Flowers 6-9 mm diam., white, nectary a ring. Fruit a schizocarp, becoming a fibrous basket-like skeleton, ± 4 mm wide, closing bodies present, seeds yellow, imbedded within mericarps.
