Characteristics

Compactum; ramuli floriferi saepe 4-6-foliati; folia infima supra visa oblonga obtusa, 1.5 cm. longa cum vagina ad 6 mm., medio 8 mm. lata, 5-6 mm. diam., carina vix visa, apiculata, marginibus utrinque 2-vel 3-denticulatis, vel rarius integris, denticulis basi ad 1.5 mm. latis, junioribus ad 2 mm. longis, superiora angustiora acuta carinata, carina leviter eccentrica, prope apicem 2-denticulata, denticulis carinalibus innovellis conspicuis, ad 1.7 cm. longa, medio 5-7 mm. lata, ad 6 mm. diam., culta demum subspathulata; receptaculum 5-6 mm. longum cum tubo ad 2 mm., ad 5 mm. diam.; sepala 5, 0.9-1 cm. longa, basi 2-3 mm., vel 2.5-3.5 mm. lata, exteriora 2 leviter compressa infraque apicem 1-denticulata; petala 5-seriata, inter angustissima in genere, rarius ad 0.25 mm. lata, saepe acuta, laete lutea, ad 1.1 cm. longa; stamina ad 6 mm. longa; ovarium in parte tertia media abrupte elevatum, aliter planum; stigmata clavata, ad 1.5 mm. longa.
