Characteristics

Folia adscendentia vel fere erecta, senecta tantum patentia, supra plana, supeme carinata compressaque, lateribus dimidio superiore grosse 3-4-dentata, dentibus carinalibus 2-4, multo minoribus, glauce viridia, punctis pallidioribus sat crebris, 1.5-2.5 cm. longa, 6-9 mm. lata, ad 8 mm. diam.; flores vespertini nocturnique, subsessiles; receptaculum 7 mm. longum cum tubo 2-3 mm., apice 6 mm., medio 7 mm., diam.; sepala 5, carinata, omnia supeme compressa, 1.5-2.5 mm. diam., exteriora prope apicem 2-3-denticulata, saepius 1-1.1 cm. longa, basi 3-4 mm. lata; petala 5-seriata acuminata lutea, 0.6-1.2 cm. longa, ad 0.75 mm. lata, basi ad per 1.5 mm. coalita; stamina aurea, ad 8 mm. longa; fossae altitudine fere dimidium tubi reoeptaculi attingentes; ovarium ad per 2 mm. elevatum; stigmata clavata, fere ad 3 mm. longa.
