Inflorescences solitary in the axils of all the cauline leaves; peduncle 10-15 mm; bracts minute; pedicels very slender, up to 5 mm. Calyx segments narrowly triangular, 1 x 0.5 mm, spreading, hairy. Corolla 3-4 mm long, white with 5-7 reddish stripes on the floor of the tube: tube 2-3 mm long, much swollen at the base and 2 mm diam., hairy outside, glabrous within; lower lip 1.5 mm; all lobes rounded c. 1 x 1 mm. Stamens arising near base of corolla; filaments 2 mm, curved, gradually swollen upwards, glabrous; anther lobes 0.5 mm; staminodes3, the laterals 1 mm, the posterior one smaller. Disc annular.
