Leaf 7 by 3.5 in., ovate-oblong, thin, crenate, sparsely hairy on both surfaces; nerves 16 pairs; peduncles 4 in. long, slender; cyme 30-flowered, 3 in. in diam.; pedicels 1/4-1/2 in. long; calyx-lobes 1/16-1/12 in. long, linear-oblong, with short white several-celled not gland-tipped hairs; corolla 1/4 in. long, white (Mudd); tube hardly 1/8 in. long, wide campanulate from the base; limb oblique, not very unequal; filaments glabrous; pollen globose; ovary densely clothed by short white several-celled not gland-tipped hairs; capsule (not ripe) 1/4 in. long (will be very small when ripe).
