Characteristics

Perennial herb, up to 400 mm tall. Leaves radical, 1-4, blade hastate to sagittate, variable in size and shape, petiole up to 300 mm long. Spathe 80-130 mm long, fused below for ± half its length, bulbous at base, tubular above with free margins recurved, inside wine-red below, cream-coloured above. Spadix greyish white.
