Characteristics

Branchlets glabrous. Petiole 1--2.5 cm. Leaf blade ± elliptic, 5--13 X 2.5--5.5 cm, both surfaces glabrous or midvein abaxially fine hairy, lateral nerves 5--10 pairs. Inflorescence axes and bracts tomentellous to pubescent. Ovary 0.5--1 mm, glabrous. Calyx appressed pubescent, lobes ca. 1 mm. Drupes globose, 4--6 mm.
